A relaxing boat cruise of the north coast of Langkawi.
Departing Tanjung Rhu in the Kilim River delta, this
cruise, skirts the coast where sea birds and crustaceans
inhabit the rock cliffs, passes some strange and exotic
rock pinnacles and visits a box canyon through a flooded
cave. Majestic limestone outcrops and sea stacks that
rises out of the ocean resembling giant temples. These
coral beds were formed some 400million years ago and
were pushed up by tectonic forces. The home to a very
unique floristic group of plants, some of which can
be found nowhere else in the world. At the base of
these majestic formations are the mangrove forest.
Eagles, kites, kingfishers, mud skippers and fiddler
crabs can be observed here.
